How the set works. The collar and the lead are sold separately, because plenty of people only want one. Put both in the basket and 10% comes off the lead automatically, with no code to remember and nothing to click. It does not combine with a discount code, so you take whichever is worth more.
Why matching is worth doing. A collar and lead bought separately from different makers almost never line up: the webbing is a different width, the brass is a different brass, one has aged and the other has not. A matched pair ages together, which is the part you notice two years in rather than on the first walk.
The four ranges, and who each suits
- Greenwich Yarn. 10mm rope with two-colour hand whipping and a solid brass Swedish sailing shackle. Eight fixed editions, or fully customisable in your own colours. The dressiest of the four.
- The Sheep Shed. British wool, graded and spun in Yorkshire, on a BioThane® strap with solid brass. Warm, structured, and the one that looks best on a working dog.
- The Cotton Mill. Handwoven cotton on veg-tanned leather. Four colourways, no decisions to make, and the softest of the four in the hand.
- Handcrafted leather. Veg-tanned leather with a solid brass or solid nickel buckle, never plated. It will outlast everything here and look better for it.
Getting the size right. The lead is chosen by length, and 150cm is the standard walking length. The collar is chosen by your dog's neck measurement, taken in the middle of the neck with two fingers under the tape. Do not add anything to that reading: the two fingers are the room.
