What does "personalised" mean for a Green Dog collar?

Personalised at Green Dog means you choose the rope colour, binding colour, hardware finish and exact size before I make the collar to order. I do not offer engraving, name plates or any text personalisation, the personal element is in the materials and the made-to-measure fit.

Where are Green Dog personalised dog collars made?

Every personalised dog collar is made by hand in my Oxford studio. I am the sole maker, so the person designing your collar in the customiser is the same person who builds it.

How do I measure my dog for a personalised collar?

Measure around the base of your dog's neck where the collar will sit, snug but not tight, then add 2 to 3cm for a standard collar or 2cm for a mini. The measuring guide has photos for every breed type, including sighthounds.

Which materials can I personalise?

Paracord, rope, Greenwich Yarn and BioThane collars are all fully personalisable by colour, binding and hardware. Leather collars are available in black or chestnut brown with solid brass hardware.

How long does a personalised dog collar take to make?

2 to 6 working days from order to dispatch. Every collar is made after you order, never pulled from stock, so the lead time covers cutting, splicing or weaving, hardware fitting and final checks.
