How I work
- Hardware is guaranteed for twelve months. If a buckle, clip or ring fails in that time, send it back and I’ll repair or replace it, and I cover the postage.
- After that, send it back anyway, however old it is. I’ll replace the worn parts at cost and tell you what it needs before I touch it. It comes back cleaned, checked and boxed.
- If it isn’t adjustable, I check your measurements with you before I make it.
- Message the shop and it’s me, Ed, who replies. Usually within a few hours.
- Custom pieces aren’t refundable for a change of mind. If it does not fit when it arrives, tell me and I will adjust or remake it. If I got the size wrong, I cover the postage both ways. If the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage is yours.

Because I cut this to the size you give me, it isn't covered by the usual 14-day change-of-mind right: I can't resell it, so I can't take it back simply because you've changed your mind. If it does not fit when it arrives, tell me and I will adjust or remake it. If I got the size wrong, I cover the postage both ways. If the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage is yours. If anything arrives faulty, damaged, mis-made or not as described, that's on me: repair, replacement or refund, and I cover the postage both ways. Either way, message me. The lead that does not ask you to compromise. This custom dog lead is designed around how you and your dog actually walk, not around what was easiest to manufacture.
Configure it as a classic clip lead with a trigger snap, a slip lead that loops over the head, or a figure of 8 nose lead for training work. Same 10mm rope, same handmade finish, three completely different experiences depending on what your dog needs that day.
The rope is durable, fast-drying and strong enough for any breed. Hardware is chosen for strength and finish, not price. Every piece is cut to your specified length, finished by hand, and checked by me before it goes out.
Personalise the rope colour, binding colour, hardware finish and lead length, and if you want something specific that is not listed, email me before ordering and I will confirm it is achievable.
