The keyrings are the ones people actually keep. They are made from the same rope, wool and cotton as the collars, with the same solid brass fittings, so they are a small piece of the real thing rather than something bought in for the season. They also work for somebody who does not have a dog, which is more than most things on a dog website can claim.
A gift card is not a cop-out here. Almost everything else I make has to fit a specific dog, and you cannot measure a dog's neck without giving the game away. A card lets them choose the size and the colours themselves, which on a made-to-order collar is most of the point.
Ordering in good time. Everything is made after you order it, in two to six working days, then UK tracked post of one to two working days. That is a comfortable week most of the year. Nearer Christmas it is worth ordering earlier rather than later, and I will put the last order date on the site once the post office publishes theirs.
