How I work
- Hardware is guaranteed for twelve months. If a buckle, clip or ring fails in that time, send it back and I’ll repair or replace it, and I cover the postage.
- After that, send it back anyway, however old it is. I’ll replace the worn parts at cost and tell you what it needs before I touch it. It comes back cleaned, checked and boxed.
- If it isn’t adjustable, I check your measurements with you before I make it.
- Message the shop and it’s me, Ed, who replies. Usually within a few hours.
- Custom pieces aren’t refundable for a change of mind. If it does not fit when it arrives, tell me and I will adjust or remake it. If I got the size wrong, I cover the postage both ways. If the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage is yours.

Because I cut this to the size you give me, it isn't covered by the usual 14-day change-of-mind right: I can't resell it, so I can't take it back simply because you've changed your mind. If it does not fit when it arrives, tell me and I will adjust or remake it. If I got the size wrong, I cover the postage both ways. If the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage is yours. If anything arrives faulty, damaged, mis-made or not as described, that's on me: repair, replacement or refund, and I cover the postage both ways. Either way, message me. Greenwich Yarn Mini Dog Collar | 6mm Rope Collar | Fully Customisable
The Greenwich Yarn Mini Dog Collar is the 6mm version of the Greenwich Yarn collar: lighter, slimmer, and proportioned for smaller breeds. The same Greenwich Yarn whipping, a primary nano cord whipped over the rope with an accent colour worked over the top, and the same construction, scaled down for dogs who suit a neater fit.
Choose your rope colour and both binding colours, then let it be made to order in Britain. Finished with a solid brass Swedish sailing shackle and a small solid brass O-ring, hardware sized to match the 6mm collar. An 11mm Green Dog brass disc sits on the O-ring, stamped once with the logo.
Getting the size right. Every collar is cut to the centimetre, 18cm to 33cm internal. Measure your dog's neck in the middle, with two fingers underneath the tape, and order that reading. Do not add anything to it: the two fingers are the room. One exception: if your dog's head is narrower than their neck, measure at the top of the neck just behind the ears instead, because a fixed collar that is slightly loose further down will slide off over the head.
The last check, and it takes ten seconds. Loop the tape measure to the size you have chosen and try it over your dog's head. If it slips over easily the collar is too big. If it does not, you have the right number. The full measuring guide, or send me the measurement and I will check it against this collar before I start. For necks over 33cm, the 10mm Greenwich Yarn collar runs from 30cm to 60cm.
Made in Britain, and I will tell you exactly what that means. Every customisable Greenwich Yarn piece is cut, whipped and finished by hand in my workshop in Oxford. Custom work is not outsourced and will not be. The shackle and the O-ring are solid brass, not plated. The shackle is a Swedish sailing shackle and it has Sweden stamped on it, because the people who make it properly are in Sweden. I could round that up and call the collar 100% British. I would rather tell you where the one part comes from and let you judge the rest, because the rest is the part that takes the time.
