Collars here fit 8–26 inch necks. Measure the neck, not the old collar.

Nothing here
is an accident.
Every material in The Sheep Shed collection was chosen carefully. British wool for warmth, texture and natural odour resistance. Veg-tanned cowhide, Italian, French or British, chosen for each piece rather than to a single origin, because it ages into something better rather than wearing out. Solid brass because it holds its structure and its finish under load. None of it was chosen for convenience.

The wool arrives as finished British rope and braid. Graded at British Wool in Bradford, spun in Huddersfield, then woven entirely by hand in my Oxford studio. Naturally odour resistant, breathable and warm. The weave distributes pressure evenly across the collar, kinder on the neck than a single-strand design and more comfortable on long walks. Ages beautifully.
Veg-tanned cowhide, Italian, French or British, chosen for each piece rather than to a single origin, then cut, detailed and finished by hand. It is the strap the wool is woven around, and it is the part that ages: it takes on a patina with every walk rather than wearing out.
The Sheep Shed meets performance. The same hand-woven British wool paired with a fully waterproof BioThane® strap: wipe-clean, and built for dogs who live active lives without compromising on craft. The wool itself is untreated — it will felt a little with wear, which tightens the weave. For the dog who works, walks in mud, or simply refuses to stay clean.
British wool.
Modern materials.
The Sheep Shed Hybrid range brings together what Green Dog does best. British wool woven by hand, combined with 10mm PPM rope and BioThane® in colours that feel like they were made for each other.
Three materials. One piece. The rope for comfort and character. The BioThane® for waterproof detail and colour. The wool for something no factory can replicate.
The kind of thing that only comes from a studio.

Made by hand.
Every single one.
The Sheep Shed was designed to be Green Dog's most considered piece. Not because it uses more materials but because it uses better ones, and takes longer to make. The wool weave alone requires a technique distinct from anything else in the workshop. The veg-tanned cowhide is cut, detailed and finished to a standard most manufacturers do not attempt. Every Sheep Shed piece is made by one person in Oxford. There is no production line, no volume target. There is just the work and care.
The collar side of the Sheep Shed. Each one is hand-woven from British wool over a leather strap, in three widths: the classic for most breeds, a narrower version for small breeds, and a wider four-row weave for sighthounds.
Brampton is the charcoal wool, Dingley the ecru. Both are undyed. They are not sheep breeds or places. The colour is the colour the sheep grew. The braid comes from a British maker. The wool comes from British farms, is graded and baled at British Wool in Bradford and spun at a mill in Huddersfield. The hybrid versions swap the leather strap for BioThane if you want something you can wipe down.
The wool leads are the same fibre in rope form, hand-spliced rather than woven, if you want the two to match.
Three widths and a measurement rather than a size band should mean the fit is right first time, and if it is not, tell me and I will adjust or remake the collar at no cost to you. That is the Perfect Fit Guarantee, and the returns page sets out where it sits alongside your statutory rights. If you are unsure which width suits your dog, email me before ordering and I will tell you.
