This website is operated by Green Dog (Ed Howe, 70 Wolsey Road, Oxford, OX2 7TA, United Kingdom). By visiting the site or buying from it, you agree to these terms.

General

You confirm you are at least the age of majority in your country.
You must not use our products for any illegal purpose.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

Products & Services

Everything here is handmade to order by one person in Oxford. Lead times and what happens if something isn't right are set out in the refund policy.
I make every effort to display colours accurately, but screens vary and I can't guarantee an exact match. Wool and plant-dyed cotton also vary slightly batch to batch — that is the material, not a fault.
I reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.

Pricing & Payment

Prices are set in GBP. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, prices are shown converted into your local currency and you are charged in that currency at checkout. The conversion is applied by Shopify at the prevailing rate.
Green Dog is not currently VAT registered, so no UK VAT is charged on any order. This page is updated if that changes.
Payment is taken at the time of order, not on dispatch, because every piece is made for you specifically.
Where an import duty, tax or carrier handling fee is charged by the destination country, that charge is the recipient's responsibility. What applies to your country is set out before you buy, on the product page and in the shipping policy.
In the event of a pricing error I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order in full.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site — product designs, photography, copy, branding and the "Dog Is In The Detail" mark — is the intellectual property of Green Dog and may not be reproduced, copied or distributed without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. In particular, nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Subject to that, Green Dog is not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time you ordered.

A collar, lead or slip lead is walking equipment, not a restraint system or a safety device. Check hardware and stitching regularly, and replace anything worn. Do not leave a collar on an unsupervised dog. A slip lead or half-check is a training tool and should not be left on a dog unattended.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts where the law allows it.
