Designer rope dog collars and leads made with my Greenwich Yarn whipping, the technique that built Green Dog's reputation. Available as named preset editions (Bordeaux, Midnight, Bloomsbury, Carbon and more) or fully customisable versions where you choose every detail.
10mm rope, precision nano binding, your choice of fittings. Every piece handmade in Britain to your dog's exact size. The material that looks right from a distance and holds up to daily life close up.
If a collar and a lead are in the basket together, the lead drops 10% automatically. It is one or the other with a discount code, never both. UK tracked delivery is free over £55.
If you already know which half you want, the Greenwich Yarn collars run from 10mm down to a 6mm mini with a slip version for training, and the Greenwich Yarn leads come as clip, hands-free and a lighter 6mm.
Whichever half you land on, the Perfect Fit Guarantee applies. If it does not fit, say so and I will adjust or remake it. There is no charge for the work either way. The postage is mine when I got the size wrong and yours when the measurement turned out not to suit your dog. The named editions are bought as shown and carry a full 30 days to change your mind, while a fully customisable piece is made to your specification and sits outside the 14-day cancellation right, as the returns page explains.
Frequently asked questions
What is Greenwich Yarn?
Greenwich Yarn is my signature binding technique. Two layers of 0.75mm nano military-grade binding are wound around 10mm rope, with the primary colour at the handle and clips and an accent colour bound 1.5cm inward. The result is a designer rope finish that you cannot get from a single-colour whipping.
Where does the name Greenwich Yarn come from?
I started Green Dog at Greenwich Markets in south London. Greenwich Yarn is named after that origin, because it was the technique I developed in that workshop and have built the range on ever since.
How is Greenwich Yarn different from standard rope?
Standard rope leads use a single layer of 2mm binding at the ends. Greenwich Yarn uses two layers of 0.75mm nano binding, which is finer, denser and allows for a contrasting accent colour. The structural strength is similar, the visual and tactile finish is not.
What Greenwich Yarn editions are available?
Fully customisable versions plus named preset editions: Bordeaux, Midnight, Bloomsbury, Carbon, Chic Camo, Marina, Siciliana and Soho. Each preset is a fixed colour combination, the customisable version lets you pick every detail yourself.
Where is Greenwich Yarn made?
Every Greenwich Yarn piece is hand-bound in Britain. The nano binding has to be tensioned consistently along the full length, which is the slow and unglamorous part of the job, and there is no shortcut to it.
Not a supply chain. A standard. Every collar and lead is made by hand in Britain, tested, measured and finished before it is packed. You are buying from the person answerable for it.
