How I work
- Hardware is guaranteed for twelve months. If a buckle, clip or ring fails in that time, send it back and I’ll repair or replace it, and I cover the postage.
- After that, send it back anyway, however old it is. I’ll replace the worn parts at cost and tell you what it needs before I touch it. It comes back cleaned, checked and boxed.
- If it isn’t adjustable, I check your measurements with you before I make it.
- Message the shop and it’s me, Ed, who replies. Usually within a few hours.
- Custom pieces aren’t refundable for a change of mind. If it does not fit when it arrives, tell me and I will adjust or remake it. If I got the size wrong, I cover the postage both ways. If the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage is yours.

Made to your measurements. Because I cut this to the size you give me, it isn't covered by the usual 14-day change-of-mind right: I can't resell it, so I can't take it back simply because you've changed your mind. If it does not fit when it arrives, tell me and I will adjust or remake it. If I got the size wrong, I cover the postage both ways. If the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage is yours. If anything arrives faulty, damaged, mis-made or not as described, that's on me: repair, replacement or refund, and I cover the postage both ways. Either way, message me. Hands-Free Dog Lead | Customisable Greenwich Yarn Rope Lead
The Greenwich Yarn Hands-Free Dog Lead is made to order in Britain: 10mm PPM rope with precision nano binding, a 19mm BioThane® slider that runs on the rope with an O-ring attached so the length adjusts without unclipping, and solid hardware throughout. An 11mm Green Dog brass disc sits on the O-ring at the handle, stamped once with the logo. Wear it around the waist or across the body.
Greenwich Yarn describes how the lead is finished, not what it is made from. A primary nano cord is whipped over the rope by hand, then an accent colour is worked over the top. It is whipping rather than splicing, and it is the same technique on the collars, the leads and the keyrings.
Fully customisable: choose your rope colour, primary and accent binding, and hardware finish. Every combination is made fresh, and nothing sits in stock.
