The Swaledale Wool Keyring Tassel is spliced by hand from the same 14mm twisted British Swaledale wool rope as The Swaledale lead, whipped with cream 1mm hemp cord and finished with a solid brass split ring that attaches to keys, a bag, or clips directly onto your dog's lead.

Rope: 14mm twisted British Swaledale wool rope, the same rope used in the Swaledale lead, spliced by hand. Swaledale is a native Yorkshire breed. British wool, graded and spun in Yorkshire, and laid into rope in Britain.

Binding: Cream 1mm hemp cord, whipped over the splice by hand.

Hardware: Solid brass split ring. Twelve-month hardware guarantee.

Made by hand in Britain. Attaches to keys, clips onto a bag, or hangs from your dog's lead.

Sizing & fit

One size. Fits standard key rings and lead D-rings. The binding is cream 1mm hemp cord.

Care & durability

The wool is untreated, which is what gives it the handle. It also means it will felt if it gets wet and worked, so do not wash it. Let any dirt dry completely and brush it out with a soft brush.

Is it the same wool as the Swaledale lead? Yes. British Swaledale wool, a native Yorkshire breed, made to the same standard as the lead.

Can I wash it? No. The wool is untreated and will felt, and there is a solid brass split ring on it. Let it dry and brush it out instead.

What can I attach it to? Keys, a bag, or the D-ring on your dog's lead. The split ring is solid brass.

Will it hold up outdoors? It is wool, so it will get damp and dry out again. Let it dry naturally rather than on a radiator.

How long will it take to arrive? Two to six working days is the making window, and it ends when the keyring is dispatched. UK tracked post is one to two working days after that, so door to door is usually three to eight working days. UK tracked delivery is free over £55.

Made to order in Britain and dispatched in 2 to 6 working days. It's worth two minutes with the measuring guide before you order. This is a size from a range I already make, so if the size turns out to be wrong, message me within 14 days. An exchange or an amendment is usually simpler than sending it back. If I got it wrong, I cover the postage both ways; if the measurement turned out not to suit your dog, the postage each way is yours. Either way, message me. I'd far rather talk it through than have you post anything. You also have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, where the law asks for 14: send it back unused and I'll refund what you paid for it and the standard delivery I charged, and the return postage is at your cost. If anything arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, that's on me: repair, replacement or refund, and I cover the postage.
