This hands-free dog lead was created in collaboration with Life Like Charlie, inspired by his rescued Podenco Nala, and designed to support Hope for Podencos.

The Nala’s Tribe Edition uses Green Dog’s proven hands-free rope lead system in a preset colourway chosen specifically for this collaboration. It can be worn hands-free around the waist or across the body, or used as an adjustable rope lead for everyday walks, training, and outdoor adventures.

Each lead is handmade to order in my Oxfordshire studio, using durable rope, a smooth-sliding BioThane® adjustment system, and premium hardware for comfort, control, and long-term reliability.

This collaboration uses the same functional design as Green Dog’s core hands-free leads, with a dedicated colour combination and charitable purpose.

Materials & Construction

• Durable Nala Green performance rope selected for strength and everyday comfort
• 19mm pastel purple BioThane® adjustable slider with embedded O-ring
• Nickel swivel carabiner at both ends and O-ring for secure attachment
• 2mm lilac binding for reinforcement and finish
• Designed to function as a hands-free lead or adjustable standard lead
• Handmade to order in Oxfordshire

The BioThane® slider allows the lead to be worn around the waist, across the body, or adjusted to a fixed walking length, consistent with Green Dog’s hands-free rope lead system.

• Available lengths: 7ft or 14ft
• Adjustable using the BioThane® slider and embedded O-ring
• Can be worn hands-free around the waist or across the body
• Also functions as an adjustable handheld rope lead
