The Sheep Shed
Collection.
British wool woven by hand. Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide. Solid brass, load-tested. Made entirely in an Oxford studio.
Nothing here
is an accident.
Every material in The Sheep Shed collection was chosen carefully. British wool for warmth, texture and natural antimicrobial properties. Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide because it ages better than anything else available. Solid brass because it will never let a dog down. None of it was chosen for convenience.

Sourced from British farms, this woven entirely by hand. Naturally antimicrobial, breathable and warm. The weave distributes pressure evenly across the collar — kinder on the neck than a single-strand design, and more comfortable on long walks. Ages beautifully.
Sourced from British farms, this is a 4-row wider weave worked entirely by hand. Naturally antimicrobial, breathable and warm. The wider weave distributes pressure evenly across the collar — kinder on the neck than a single-strand design, and more comfortable on long walks.
The Sheep Shed meets performance. The same hand-woven British wool paired with BioThane® — fully waterproof, wipe-clean, and built for dogs who live active lives without compromising on craft. For the dog who swims, works, or simply refuses to stay dry.
British wool.
Modern materials.
The Sheep Shed Hybrid range brings together what Green Dog does best. Heritage British wool woven by hand — combined with 10mm PPM rope and BioThane® in colours that feel like they were made for each other.
Three materials. One piece. The rope for comfort and character. The BioThane® for waterproof detail and colour. The wool for something no factory can replicate.
The kind of thing that only comes from a studio.

The Classic Range
— leather strap
British heritage wool woven around an Italian veg-tanned leather strap. Develops a patina with every walk. The original Sheep Shed collar.

Made by hand.
Every single one.
The Sheep Shed was designed to be Green Dog's most considered piece. Not because it uses more materials but because it uses better ones, and takes longer to make. The wool weave alone requires a technique distinct from anything else in the workshop. The Italian cowhide is cut, detailed and finished to a standard most manufacturers do not attempt. Every Sheep Shed piece is made by one person in Oxford. There is no production line, no volume target. There is just the work and care.
