Made using premium 6mm rope and finished with Green Dog’s signature BioThane® slider, this customisable nose slip lead offers clear guidance without bulk or harsh correction.

Ideal for dogs that pull, react, or need gentle directional feedback, the figure of 8 design sits comfortably around the nose and neck, helping you regain focus and control with minimal effort.

Delivery & Making Time

Each lead is handmade to order in my studio.

  • Making time: 1–4 working days
  • UK orders: Tracked delivery via Evri
  • International orders: Fully tracked shipping via Royal Mail

FedEx Express delivery can be arranged on request for international orders (additional charges may apply).

Every lead is checked for fit, finish, and quality before leaving the studio, with final approval from Boris the Blade (Head of Quality Control).
Customisation Options

  • BioThane® slider / stopper colour
  • Metal finish (end caps and rivets)
  • Lead length (figure-8 loop adds ~30cm to the chosen length, e.g. a 120cm lead measures ~150cm in total rope)

Each lead is finished with Green Dog’s branded BioThane® detail and cotton label.

Materials & Construction

Crafted using premium 6mm rope selected for its balance of strength, flexibility, and comfort.

The rope features a soft outer sheath with a reinforced inner core, allowing it to hold its shape without feeling stiff or heavy in the hand.

Finished with a BioThane® slider and branded cotton detail, which moves smoothly along the rope to secure the fit when worn as a figure of 8 dog lead.

Designed to withstand regular use while remaining lightweight and comfortable for both dog and handler.
Sizing & Fitting

The figure of 8 design sits around the nose and neck, offering gentle directional guidance rather than constant pressure.

Choose your preferred lead length based on how much freedom you want during walks or training.

The adjustable BioThane® slider allows you to fine-tune the fit so the lead stays secure without tightening excessively.

Care & Durability

Designed for everyday use in all conditions.

To care for your lead:

  • Hand wash with mild soap if needed (30 degrees C or less)
  • Rinse thoroughly and air dry
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to abrasive surfaces

Colour intensity may soften slightly over time, particularly with darker dyes, which is a natural characteristic of dyed rope.

With proper care, your lead will remain strong, functional, and comfortable for years of use.
