This luxury dog lead is part of the Greenwich Yarn collection, made for owners who want something practical but properly finished. I handmake each Greenwich Yarn rope lead to order in my Oxfordshire studio using durable rope and precision nano binding, so it feels balanced in the hand and looks the part on every walk.

It’s designed to pair beautifully with the Greenwich Yarn collar and hands-free lead, with the same clean detailing and custom colour choices. Choose your rope colour, binding colours and hardware finish, then pick the lead style that suits how you walk.

Every lead is checked for finish, function, and durability before dispatch, with final approval from Boris the Blade.

This lead is fully customisable and available in multiple configurations.

You can choose:

Materials & Construction

• Durable 10mm rope selected for strength and everyday comfort
• Layered nano binding at the hardware using a primary and accent colour
• Premium metal hardware selected for durability and finish
• BioThane® branded slider where applicable
• Metal end caps for a refined, finished detail

The nano binding is applied by hand and takes significantly longer than standard bindings, creating a distinctive and elevated finish unique to the Greenwich Yarn collection.
Sizing & Fitting

• Lead length is measured from the end of the clip to the handle
• Available in multiple lengths depending on configuration
• Clip, slip, and figure of 8 options allow flexibility for walking and training

Care & Durability

Designed for regular use while preserving its finish.

Care instructions:

• Place the lead inside a sock or pillowcase to protect the hardware
• Machine wash at 30°C
• Air dry naturally
• Avoid harsh detergents or chemicals

Nano binding is colourfast and durable, but gentle care will extend its lifespan.
Safety & Usage Notes

• Always supervise your dog when using a rope lead
• Ensure slip and figure of 8 configurations are used correctly
• Not recommended for dogs that pull heavily without training
• Remove the lead when unsupervised

Q: Can this be made as a regular lead, a slip lead, or a figure of 8 dog lead?
A: Yes. Use the “Lead Style” option to choose clip, slip, or figure of 8. It’s the same Greenwich Yarn build, just configured to suit how you walk and train.

Q: Which lead style should I choose?
A: Clip is best for a collar or harness. Slip is useful for quick on and off during training. Figure of 8 gives more control around the nose and is often chosen for dogs that need clearer guidance.
