Hands-Free Dog Lead – Monkey Blue | Life Like Charlie

This hands-free dog lead was designed in collaboration with Life Like Charlie, inspired by his Podencos Nala & Monkey, and created to support Hope for Podencos.

The Monkey Blue Summer Edition uses the same proven hands-free system as Green Dog’s core rope leads, with preset colour combinations chosen for this collaboration. It can be worn hands-free around the waist or across the body, or used as an adjustable rope lead for everyday walks.

Each lead is handmade to order in my Oxfordshire studio using durable materials and a sliding BioThane® system that allows smooth adjustment in use.
Sizing & Fitting

• Available lengths: 7ft or 14ft
• Adjustable via the BioThane® slider and embedded O-ring
• Can be worn hands-free around the waist or across the body
• Also functions as an adjustable handheld rope lead

Measuring Guide
Materials & Construction

• Durable Monkey Blue nylon rope selected for strength and everyday comfort
• 19mm Navy Blue BioThane® sliding system with embedded O-ring
• Gun-metal swivel carabiners at both ends and O-ring for secure attachment

• 2mm Forest Green binding for reinforcement and finish
• Designed to function as a hands-free lead or adjustable standard lead
• Handmade to order in Oxfordshire

The BioThane® slider allows the lead to be worn around the waist, across the body, or adjusted to a fixed length, exactly as with Green Dog’s other hands-free rope leads.
Care & Durability

• Rope and paracord items can be placed inside a sock or pillowcase
• Machine wash at 30°C
• Air dry naturally
• Avoid tumble drying or harsh detergents

Designed for regular use while protecting hardware and finish.
Delivery & Making Time

Each collar is handmade to order in my studio.

  • Making time: 1–4 working days
  • UK orders: Tracked via Evri
  • International orders: fully tracked shipping via Royal Mail.

For Fedex Express additional charges may apply but happy to arrange.

Every collar is checked for fit, finish, and quality before it leaves the studio, with final approval from Boris the Blade (head of quality control).
